The Automovement were a post-80s new wave band composed of Konrad Gates on bass and vocals, Sean Keane on guitar, Bernice Jang on drums, and Marina Stamboulieh on keyboards. They were one of the first bands in Vancouver to truly bring back what was good in the 80s. Unfortunately, their life span was cut short when Konrad got convinced to go work in eastern Canada. The fool! Their musical legacy has now been passed to bands like the Organ and Radio Berlin. Sean has since moved on to form the great Global Symphonic record label.
